Featuring: Alex Berrios
Alex Berrios is a stand up comedian and podcaster. Born in Orlando, Florida and raised by third world parents. She performs her stand-up comedy all over Dallas-Fort Worth at venues such as House of Blues, Dallas Comedy Club, Addison Improv and Hyenas Comedy Club. Alex was led into comedy by successfully failing at everything else. Being a first generation immigrant, she battled the pressure from her parents to become a lawyer or doctor. Accidentally, she became a traveling dropout scholar, attending 5 different colleges in 3 different states. While continuing to disappoint her parents, she easily captivates every audience sharing her childhood stories to her conversion from the streets to the sheets. She’s not your typical Mexican, for she is Honduran. Alex is rare because she is a first-generation-Honduran-America-female-stand up comedian, who hates spicy food. Rare and relatable is what she is. You’ll be able to hear her on the regular, for she is the co-host on Kink’d AF Podcast, where 4 Black and Brown women discuss it all from kinky hair to some kinky stuff. She’s performed alongside Exavier Poole, host of The Trap Nerds Podcast, Trey Mack, Dez O’Neal and competed on the Kenan Thompson Ultimate Comedy Experience Showcase.
